Leathan Prestige

a Scottish RoadTripStory

Here's how we retold a story that ignited the curiosity and of the audience of luxury Scottish coach business, Leathan Prestige with one question;

Where will the road take you?

Chapter 1: Visual Identity

For over a decade, our family-led team has been trusted to deliver journeys defined by comfort, care, and attention to detail. At Leathan Prestige, travel is more than simply reaching a destination. It is about how you arrive — and how you feel along the way.

Exploration

Understanding the role of heritage & Trust in luxury

A key part of the branding project was to help establish  Leathan Prestige's position as a luxury brand. In order to do this, we asked a very simple question; what is luxury?

Following a lengthy research phase into this question, we arrived at the conclusions. Luxury is the freedom to go where you want - effortlessly. In order for the client to percieve the business this way, we had to work hard on being dependable &  organised.

We explored the idea of 'old money' in Scotland - vintage golf hotels, old luxury travel suitcases, the Scottish landscape and its historic roots and we dove deep into heraldry which is often used as a way to convey heritage and years of service because something key to creating a luxury brand is creating trust in your years of service.

During our exploration into heardry we uncovered a number of subtle details and meaning that led to us creating a truly distinguished and elegant Scottish luxury travel brand...

Logo & Tagline

Anatomy of a logo

TURAS MATH DHUIBH

We used the form of a traditional scottish crest[1] which typically features foliage around the outside with an emblem mounted at the top middle. We chose a shell [2] which in heraldry signifies "One who has made many journeys" usually referring to voyages sailors made - as Leathan Prestige's geographical home, Portlethan, sits on the coastine this felt very fitting for the brands roots as well as the reasurance of many successful journies made.

We paired the logo with 2 typefaces [3] which allow the brand to feel firm and grounded as well as more edifieed and distinguished. Finally, while researching heraldry, we were made aware of the importance of family motos and when we found the old gaelic greeting "Turas Math Dhuibh"[4] meaning 'Good Journey!' we felt this was this perfectly summed up the Scottish routes of the business as well as the sense communicated to the traveler to relax and enjoy the journey because everything is ready.

Chapter II: Photography

As part of the rebrand we did a photoshoot of the vehicles - looking at the fetaures offered but more importantly, showing potential passengers what the feeling of traveling with Leathan Prestige would be like.

Value Addition

A story told by people

Photography and Videography allow us to let our clients tell their stories, their ways. We assited Aurora with scripts, story boards and worked with the team - and within our own team - to work on exciting drone shots and other ways to film the action without intruding on live work or being a risk to health and safety.

All this allows us to capture real moments that allow our clients to tell their story.

Chapter III: WEBSITE

We built a designed and built a bespoke experience for Lethan Prestige utilising, fluid animations, beautiful imagery, and optimised the site for search engines so that when users find the site they would feel emersed in this luxury experience.

Web Design & Build

Effortless elegance

To create a site that honoured everything we worked incredibly hard to think of everything from the user's perspective - even the first question "Where will the road take you" reframed the norm of travel companies who jump straight into their fleet and capabilities.

Additionally we focused on the small details, animations across the site that made the journey through the site flow effortlessly, we kept information only relavent to what the user needed and guided them through their journey in the website all amidst beautiful imagery throughout.

The power of knowing your audience

Reframing the question

What enabled us to tell this story in an effective way was thinking about the project from the perspective of the passenger. We worked with Leathan Prestige to develop passenger personas and framed every decision from wether their target audience would want this. Leathan Prestige were onboard and excited at every stage and we are truly grateful for everything they brought to the project.
